DoctorNote.ca provides access to medical documentation issued by licensed Canadian physicians. Technology components may be powered by ClinIQ Health.

3. Eligibility
- Services are intended for individuals located in Canada.
- You must be at least the age of majority in your province/territory, or have parental/guardian consent.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to use the service only for lawful, legitimate purposes.
4. No emergency or crisis care
Our service does not provide emergency medical care. If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department immediately.
5. Services, limitations and medical disclaimer
- We facilitate issuance of documents (e.g., sick notes, referrals) for short-term, non-emergent needs.
- A clinical review may be required at the physician’s discretion. Repeated or complex cases may be redirected to a teleconsultation or in‑person care.
- Documents are provided at the professional discretion of licensed physicians and may be refused if clinically inappropriate.

6. Accounts and authentication
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
- If you sign in with Google, we will receive your name and email to create and authenticate your account. See our Privacy Policy for details and revocation/deletion options.

- Fees, where applicable, will be disclosed prior to checkout.
- Refunds are assessed case‑by‑case. If a document cannot be issued, we will provide guidance on next steps and eligibility for refund.
- Documents are delivered electronically (PDF). Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary.
8. Email communications and anti‑spam
- Transactional emails (receipts, status, document delivery) are required to provide the service.
- Marketing emails are sent only with your explicit consent and always include an unsubscribe link.

9. Acceptable use
