How to request deletion

1. Email us from the address on your account at general@doctornote.ca with the subject “Data Deletion Request”.
2. Include your full name and the email address associated with your account.
3. For your security, we may request simple verification to confirm ownership of the account.

Timeline: We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days unless a shorter period is required by law.

Google Sign‑In users

If you authenticated with Google, you may also revoke our access directly at:

myaccount.google.com/permissions

Revoking access does not automatically delete your account data with us. Please also complete the steps above to request deletion from our systems.

What gets deleted

• Account profile and authentication identifiers used by our systems.
• Documents generated for you, where applicable, unless we are legally required to retain records for a defined period.
• Activity and usage data tied to your account, except anonymized analytics that cannot identify you.

What may be retained

• Data needed to comply with laws, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.
• Backup copies that are automatically purged on a rolling schedule.
