How to delete your account and associated data from DoctorNote.ca
How to request deletion
- Email us from the address on your account at general@doctornote.ca with the subject “Data Deletion Request”.
- Include your full name and the email address associated with your account.
- For your security, we may request simple verification to confirm ownership of the account.
Timeline: We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days unless a shorter period is required by law.
Google Sign‑In users
If you authenticated with Google, you may also revoke our access directly at:
myaccount.google.com/permissions
Revoking access does not automatically delete your account data with us. Please also complete the steps above to request deletion from our systems.
What gets deleted
- Account profile and authentication identifiers used by our systems.
- Documents generated for you, where applicable, unless we are legally required to retain records for a defined period.
- Activity and usage data tied to your account, except anonymized analytics that cannot identify you.
What may be retained
- Data needed to comply with laws, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.
- Backup copies that are automatically purged on a rolling schedule.
