Types of emails we send

• Transactional: Receipts, account updates, status notifications, and document delivery. These are required to provide the service.
• Marketing: Sent only with your explicit consent. You may withdraw consent at any time.

Unsubscribe

Every non‑transactional email from us includes a visible unsubscribe link. You can also request removal by emailing general@doctornote.ca.

Unsubscribing from marketing emails will not affect transactional emails needed to deliver our services.

Complaints and abuse

If you believe you have received unwanted or abusive email from us, contact general@doctornote.ca. We investigate all complaints and take appropriate action.

Sender identity and authentication

• Our messages originate from our domain and identify DoctorNote.ca as the sender.
• We use Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configured for our domain.

List management practices

• Marketing emails are sent only to recipients who have opted in.
• We do not purchase or rent mailing lists.
• Bounced and complaint addresses are suppressed.
